Should auld…something

My high-end little brother got me a bottle of Patron for Christmas, and I’m thinking a few tequila shots are in order this evening. Have a good one!

newyear

P.S. How are they going to make those horribly annoying New Year’s eyeglasses when there are no longer two zeros in the middle of the year? What did people wear on their faces on New Year’s Eve back in 1998?

Tornado, or two boys? Tough call.

Yeah, that’s a kitchen set–a “manly” one, as Daddy insisted. The little guy likes to cook for his mommy.

How was your holiday? Santa was generous this year. He must have forgotten about the crayon markings on the wall. And the tantrums in the local electronics store, the occasional hitting of younger brother, and the “I don’t eat corn dogs without KETCHUUUUUUUUUUUP!!!!!”…okay, so the other 90 75% of the time, they are cute, very good boys! We did take them on a 13-hour (each way) car trip and they did great. Christmas was exceptionally festive this year until about halfway through Christmas Day, when we were struck with the ‘08 Stomach Bug…all four of us. At. The. Same. Time.

Ew.  Let’s put that on the list of things not to do again. Two-year-old slept most of the time once the worst was over, but hubby and I were in so much pain we couldn’t get out of bed, so five-year-old had to pretty much fend for himself, and he did a great job going from his bed to the bathroom every ten minutes for four hours. Poor guy. Luckily it was a 24/36-hour thing, and we are all normal-ish now. Back to playing with our new toys. All four of us. :)

Merry Christmas!

Christmas came early

I scored Nickelback tickets last night! They happen to be playing in my area next spring–two weeks before I turn 30. Happy birthday to me!! Old age is looking better and better. :-)

Speaking of Christmas, I have kids and out-of-state relatives so I’ll be insanely busy (also known as “quiet on the blog”) for the next three weeks. I leave you with this tasty thought:
